...and why?
If you have more than one installed on the same instance of OS, have you found any compatibility issues?
Is the anti-virus software you like the most free?

I use avira antivir security suite (bcoz it has best virus detection rates & doesnt hog memory, see av-comparitives.org)
A free version of avira antivir is available @ free-av.com
There should be compatibility issuses with multiple antiviruses on same operating systems bcoz both try to interfere & block each other (My os crashed when i tried to install mcafee while avira antivir was already present)
I love kaspersky, it gives very decent performance in best Price.
I use BitDefender and its not free. But I also found Avast AV to be pretty good and its free.
Btw. I did'nt know guests can create polls.
@smnesmwhr
why has ur position suddenly been changed to guest.
Anyways , i've love norton, purely becoz i've never had any issues for past 7 yrs.
I've avg and avast wid norton without any issues...
BTW this question getting too repetitive....

No man u got me wrong, I don't use them regularly.... I would go mad. I install avast and avg periodically only to scan the system and then i uninstall it.
I'm currently using NAV 09 which's really great, in properly utilizing resouces. U must have come accross the reviews on net for NAV 09.
Before when i was using NAV 08 and had only 512 Mb ram , it was a lil slow, but then i had no issues...![]()

Avast...personal edition is free ...you get a key on registration....automatically updates.....Good performance......
:4:GUYS go for AVIRA free edition although it doesn't cover realtime protection, can catch VIRUS THREAT beyond your expectation!![]()
I use quick heal licence & avast free
But i think avast & kesperky is the best anti-virus
i was sify user few month ago(still i have the sify account but very rare i recharge)that time Trend Macro must have to install for sify that the most embarrassing thing for me.
i am using avast free ......... because it take less space in RAM.........
I have been using AVG free for the last three years without facing any problem. The new version i.e. AVG 8.0 is very effective with lots of features (including antispyware, email scanner, link scanner apart from antivirus). Infact, it is just like a security suite which is absolutely free of charge). It is also very light on system and regularly updated.![]()
No Antivirus!
Use Linux most of time and rarely boot into winows![]()
I use AVG Free 8 antivirus plus Sygate Firewall. Togather, they so far have worked quite well for me.
i am using avast now....
earlier, i was using kasperky....
ubuntu for virus-free computing![]()
i like avira antivirus because i am using it for 2 years without any problems of virus..........![]()
ESET or norton for any of the 2009 releases, undoubtedly the best releases this year, Kaspersky didn't live upto the expectations in my book
on my home system i am using AVG 8.0 Paid Version
on my work system i am using McAfee
i had AVG insstallled too, but it didn't sit well with me so i shifted
last year i used AVG.....it was good too....
