    Yes, i use a hardware firewall (adsl router with wireless encryption WPA2 & mac address filter) , avira antivir security suite (includes firewall, antivirus, antispyware).

    a) a software firewall: Yes. Windows Firewall. It does the job for me fine.
    b) a hardware router; if yes, do you use any of its traffic filtering capabilities?: Use a wi-fi router but not its traffic filtering. Use OpenDNS software for the same.
    c) if you have wireless connection, encryption? If yes, WEP/WPA/WPA2/other?: Yes. WPA-PSK with TKIP
    d) anti spyware: No
    e) anti virus: Yes. AVG Free.

    For me Kaspersky is doing all the work of Firewall, Spyware and Antivirus...

    No need for anything else.

    My firewalling needs are sufficed by hardware firewall setup on an old p3. Yes, go ahead call me paranoid
