If you download a lot of stuff from internet, probably violating copyrights when/if you download music, movies and/or games, do you think you will be better off against any anti-piracy action if you encrypted your files/disk? Do you think such a use of the encryption utilities is a legitimate use?
Do you have privacy requirements for your personal data or is it someone else's data (a client's source code and application for example) you want to protect (or both)?
Or would you rather use other solutions than file/disk encryption software? If yes, for what reasons (complexity? performance? or do you think such software is not really secure? any other reason?)
Or, are you the type who does not care?
Or, do you have no data to protect from any prying eyes?
If you do care, however, which software do you use for this? And who do you want to protect against - theft of your data-containing device or potential threat from authorities/activists?
