Thread: Difference between Norton 360 & NIS 2009

Please tell me the difference between Norton 360 degree & Norton Internet Security 2009. Currently I am using NIS 2009- 90 day trial + Adaware. It has a smart firewall. But cannot identify which program is accessing internet.

Suggestions always welcome.

NIS 2009 offers what every other internet security suite offers. 360 is available for a minimum 3 pc license but NIS 2009 can be bought for 1 pc 1 user licence. NIS costs 2115/- and 360 is 3,760/- (3 pc 3 user license minimum). So 360 is cheaper in a way.

Even still Kaspersky is still cheaper than NIS 2009. KIS costs 1559/- for 1 PC 1 year license. KIS also has a much better reputation compared to norton.

Why am I talking about prices of these software? I believe that the advantage a licenced or a free but authentic Internet security suite offers is uncomparable to a pirated version.

360 is a stripped down version of NIS and Norton systemworks clubbed together.. isn't it?? I hated it when i used it for like 1 hr and uninstalled it
