I did requested you a no. of times to go through a full system scan after providing a no of useful tools. From the very beginning, your system is showing symptoms of an infection. At times, you may need to format C and reinstall Windows to get rid of it.

Wink Re : generic host problem

There many Generic Host Process running in Windows -

    3 for System
    6 for Local User Group
    2 for Network

Virus may be cause but I feel it to be a good excuse. Any problems people have with their computer they blame on virus but that may not be the real issue.

The problem you are having may be due to improperly installed , incompatible or missing system drivers. Please open your Device manager.[Right click My Computer on Desktop and go to Manage. Click Device Manager in WMC[Windows Management Console]. See whether there are any yellow question mark or exclamation mark beside any system devices. Install proper device drivers , update older drivers. I think this will workout the issue.

He asked for a solution. That's not a solution.

If we keep on avoiding problems , problems will tend to get bigger.

    Default Two solutions...Which work

    Solution1:
    --------------

The best thing to know for sure is to just format your C:\ drive the one with the Windows Installation.
This way "if it was a system error/bug" will be clean.

    Solution2:
    --------------

But "if it was a virus" first get a good security solution, scan your PC for infections, remove them.
If still the problem persists then go for solution1

remember to use antivirus, dont think you won't browse sites which are risky so you dont get a virus, if u are connected to the internet that is enough for u to get infected.
