    Question password

    hello IBB

    can anyone tell me how can i open Microsoft Office Word file.

    i forget the password of my file.

    right click the document -Open with Notepad ...scroll to the bottom there u can see your password

    Just checked created a document with password " Sujith"

    Opened with notepad see the result

    see it so easily?

    Password is not stored that way - it is encrypted. It so happens that your password is same as your user name. I think what you are showing is username as in document properties.

    yes thats correct what J4K told,
    i accept that MS's security is weak but not up to this extent.Its not the password i think better try it with something else to confirm it

    lolz... when did it started to show password tooo... password is always in encrypted format.

    i try open the Microsoft Office Word file {Open with Notepad} but it did not work at all.

    so anyone can tell me some new. may be we can get the password with the help of COMMAND PROMPT.

    so anybody know the commands do that.

    yes j4k is right I've checked twice. Its showing document name, computer name and first word of content!!! Password is encrypted

    you can not get password with the help of command prompt.there are softwares available which claim to crack office passwords by using brute force approach.you can try them but if password is too long,say,14 characters with special symbols,small capital combination then it will take a very very long time or in other words forever.
    Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
    Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
    Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?
