Rep Power: 7 | I dont know much about anti virus softwares, as you all know im not all that techie! So how can one establish which is the best anti virus, and what qualities or features should you look out for? |

| Factors 1. User friendliness There is no use of a program that is too good and very difficult for user to interpret or use. Hijack this is an anti browser hijack program which normal people has no use. 2. Threat detection It should be able to detect the threats may it come through downloading, usb, CD or other modes. 3. Allow exclusions There some programs we like to use but the antivirus classify as virus. Your antivirus should have an option to add exception 4. Cost Whether it is free or not. There are numerous tools like Avira, Avast and AVG which give many of the Internet security modules free of cost. |

| As dilip mentioned, User friendliness is big factor, That makes you to use every feature of antivirus.
