Internet speed booster , PC speed booster is all marketing gimmick. Dont fall in trap. And it wont do anything good for you or for system.
As you have used TCP optimizer , tell what good it did for your system ?
This is all crap softwares, the default settings in windows always work fine. many people use it thinking that they will get HUGE booooost in net speed but its not so.
No matter what software you use, u will always get downlaod speed = bandwidth/8

Now as you have already messed with system, see if that TCP optimiser has RESTORE DEFAULT SETTINGS or something similar.

In TCP Optimizer, File-> Restore Windows Default settings-> OK.

PS, In my tests, internet speed was much faster in windows default settings than after using TCPOptimizer.

Disabling some unimportant/optional components of Avast can reduce memory usage a little bit.

You can also do this after installing Avast by going On-Access Protection Control [Double click tray icon]-> Select component and click Terminate.
