Default [TUT]How to copy files safely from infected pen/flash drive

Lets say u don't have AV on ur PC & u got a pen drive which u know is definitely infected. but u need files on pen drive as they are important.

    Well its quite simple.

    just follow the steps
    1. B4 plugging in pen drive, disable the autoplay function for the pendrive.
I am on win7 so i know path for it is:
Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\AutoPlay.just uncheck use autoplay for all media & devices.
other users can google how to disable autoplay for their OS.

lets say u dont wanna disable autoplay &f autoplay window appears, then simply choose take no action. but i will insist on disabling autoplay.

    2. open my computers & check the latter of the pen drive. lets say its H.

    3. close my computer & hit start>run

    4. in RUN type H: (pendrive letter : )

    5. now don't even touch CRTL+A (i.e. select all).

    6. just select the file u wanna copy (incase of multiple files, use CRTL & click needed files w/o releasing CRTL)

    7. copy files to ur HDD.

    8. unplug pendrive.

I;ve tested this method, many times. it works.

this method can also work if u wanna transfer files from pen drive to infacted PC w/o getting pendrive infected.
