    Default Clickbait Survey traps

The biggest victims of this online scam are people wanted to download a pirate content or watch a video that is not available on Youtube. This scam have a good SEO because they always show up in Google search results. They were also spread through out Youtube. There are many videos on Youtube with Thumbnails and previews that says it is the episode but if you click it. It is either a blank video that asks you to click the link below of a video of a woman that tells you to click the link below.

If you click that link you will be ask to answer a survey and after wasting your time with that survey they will ask you to give your mobile phone or email. Obviously this is a trap and it is trapping you so your email or cellphone number will be sold as leads for spammers and telemarketers.

Thanks for sharing this useful piece of information. I think there are a lot of sites that take advantage of people who look for ways to earn money online.

In PTC (Paid to Click) site which use to pay the members for viewing ads, there is an ad that comes in between. If you click on the ad it will log out the PTC site you are working on. Then quite naturally it will ask you to log in again. Once you do this the hacker on the other side would be able to know your username and password. Now he is at free to use the money in your account.

As a remedy to this, before logging in again you have to just close the browser , clear the cookies and then reopen the site in a fresh window. Every day you can find a lot of innovative ways to cheat us online.

The clickbait sites I am talking about though are not PTC's, they promise people they will be able to watch a TV show or TV series for free. They usually scam people in Youtube and they also do a lot of spamming in message boards too.

I do get scammed by PTC's before but that is during my early days in the internet.
