Arrow What will be the Best Security For PC?

Hey guys, what is the best antivirus software you think according to your experience for securing our PCs? As for me, I have been using Quick Heal Antivirus 2008 and it is the best one for me. Is there the better one for you?

Best security: don't connect to internet.

Seriously though:

a) Use genuine software (there I go again)
b) Use a good full version AV (one package only)
c) Regular updates
d) A good firewall

Install a Linux distribution and forget about anti-virus problems. I forgot to add... Please update your distribution on regular intervals too.

You are contradicting your own statement. Unless you meant 'Don't go for the
pirated ones.'

I think Bitdefender Antivirus 2009. Its really a great security software. You can look into their site for its features and read reviews on various web sites about it.

I use F-secure. It has really worked well for me except the amount on memory it uses.

I have always used Norton and I am pretty satisfied with it. It routinely runs scans to check for problems and gives me detailed results. I also get security warnings when it detects websites that are not safe. So far I never got a virus in 2 years I have been using it but I have got many warnings of possible viruses.

for home use ..yes Avast or Avira will do , if you want much more higher security ,the best option is NOD 32

What i have in my PC (updated)=Avast Antivirus+Zone Alarm firewall+AD-aware 2007+Spyware doctor.

works best for me
