    Default six months Trial internet security suit

    I am looking for a 3 or 6 months trial internet security suit for a box I use purely for torrents

    Any suggestions or links would be most appreciated

    Anything but zone alarm

    The 6 months trial keys given on those two pages do not work..

    Any more suggestions or ideas?

    Avast Proffesional is heavy on the system resources but is perfect for protecting your always ON computer...Been using for over a year ... after experimenting with many anti-viruses .... Will Encourage anyone to try it out

    I am not sure why you guys think its heavy on system resources. On the contrary i would say its very light. I have been using it for 6 months now and no problems. Uses around 10-15MB memory and protection is even better than paid AV softwares.

    Yes, antivirus/firewall software by default enables lot of options by default. (eg:Email scanner). If you disable them then it wont use too much memory any more.
