Default Computer speech synthesis on Vista

Speech synthesis is the artificial production of human speech. A computer system used for this purpose is called a speech synthesizer, and can be implemented in software or hardware. A text-to-speech (TTS)
system converts normal language text into speech.

Most of the text-to-speech softwares can read text files in format of ..txt and other file formats with natural voices using various voice engines. The text-to-speech voice engine on Vista is Microsoft Anna, and
Microsoft Sam on the Windows XP. Vista users can hear a very clear voice of Anna, XP users would think the voice of Microsoft Sam is poor.

The narrator has been shipped with Windows XP and Vista. However there are other good freewares such as panopreter. It is an easy-to-use tool which reads files, and it converts files into wave and mp3 audio files, so you can listen to them with a MP3 player.

But many computer users just look, If they want to listen to something, they just turn on their TV or radio. Very few people like to listen on the computer. Do you think so

Our mind works in strange ways.
When we read a written material, our mind automatically interprets the same and creates appropriate punctuations and emotions that go with its.
But the major problem with the computer narrator is the absolute lack of emotions.
Even Acrobat Reader has a "read out" facility, but I prefer to read myself.

panopreter is a good software but it works only when you use internet.

so there is any other software which work without internet.

No internet connection is required to run Panopreter. In fact, Panopreter reads much clear and pleasant on Windows 7 or Vista with the natural voice of Microsoft Anna.
