Thread: Problem loading Gchat in hosted email.((

guys i have a subdomain hosted on google apps..


i have enabled labs on it and i do chatting by gchat which loads on the left side of the page as you can see..


you can clearly see the problem

the contacts are not loading properly, sometimes the gadget is not shown, sometimes the contacts are masked..the problem remains even after cache deletion, reloading, etc,..i wrote to google but they say its a browser prob..

but can't understand why was it so nice earlier..


need some advice,.. google hosted email is same gmail with a different domain.. mx servers are ridercted to google, thats all...

the email is hosted on google's servers only..

please help me..because of this i need to guess whos online and whos not..
if the name looks like starting with not A, than its online

but what to do if the first person in my contacts (thats Abhinav ) is online????

Check your firewall settings for gtalkplugin.exe

its allright..

it loads sometimes, yet sometimes it doesnt :sad:

Try gtalk desktop edition or pigdin (if possible).

Did you checked with other browsers ?

Change the gtalkplugin.exe settings to allow.

hmmm, no i use only kmeloen, because it uses less space..

my ie gets jams and ff is not supporting old version with chat :sad: cause my speed is of dial ups,,

good choice ... even i use k-meleon ... very resource friendly browser

even i am facing this mysterious problem. best option is to use google chrome.

i face this problem with k-meleon, opera, Ie7

hmmmm, my chrome is not working nicely...

when i load old version ,it gives no chat
