    Question Image Hosting Suggestion Needed

I used to host some very important images like the ones which make up a website/blog on my yahoo geocities account. but according to yahoo's declaration geocities will be closed by year end.

I need some free image hosting service which ensures permanent hosting of images and where i can create a personal account and keep track of all my uploads.

Also, it must provide unlimited/or at least huge amount of free space and bandwidth.

    Some quick suggestions plz.

But, isnt there a bandwidth limitation in flickr? Waiting for a few more suggestions.

Whether you are going for free or paid, Imageshack goes all the way.

Imageshack.us is currently the best for everyone.

i know about imageshack... but i have seen many blogs/sites meant for images where pictures hosted on imageshack show this: "bandwidth limit exceeded". same is the case with photobucket and uploadhouse and most other free image hosting services. actually i am creating a blog which will have many images. and i dont want this to happen

Imageshack gives a hourly bandwidth of 300MB for a single image. That notice in blogs/websites are because the theme is used by so many users that the images exceed the limit of 300MB. You can edit your theme, and upload the images required to your account and then link using that links.

And, if you exceed the limit, they will make the images available as soon as the accoutn owner sends some message/e-mail. I had never used that facility. So, I don't know further details.

But, photobucket and others are unbearable.

^^^ I have a feeling thats the case only in warez sites. probably the domain might have been banned by respective hosts.

Then do have a search about it, and I hope that you will like it. If so, give your feedback so that others coming to this thread can also benefit.

P.S: You can give feedback even before starting to use it. You can review/compare its features to prepare a good feedback.

    What else? :confused1:

I think that it will be enough for you, and when a time comes when it's not enough for you, you'll be able to easily afford your paid image hosting (of your choice).

And, you have my wishes to reach that day when you get bored of it, as soon as possible.

P.S: Don't forget me when that day comes.

It wont be possible dhanesh. I am a complete newbie. I dont have a single blog(website to dur ki baat hai) till now. I know almost nothing about SEO. Tried to learn a bit. But, not getting proper source of learning the basics of making a successful site/blog. I think the best thing for newbies in this case is to get some direct guidance from a successful webmaster.

    its of yahoo.
    Google's picasa.
I think images hack us is not very trustworthy. You can use imagetitan.com its webpage gives upload of five images at once.
