    Here is a comprehensive guide.

    This was written in a lot of hurry - so please excuse obvious mistakes.

    I use alcohol 120%.

    Alcohol 120% is payware - DVD Shrink is freeware.

    the download link on prev page states that, the download has been removed from their website.(dvdshrink.org • View topic - DVD Shrink download locations) so better to suggest ppl to use google search.

    Btw, its seems its development has been stopped since 2006.

    The guide contains the working link.

    MPAA/RIAA farts leaned on DVD Shrink people and forced it to close down.

    CloneDVD can do the same job and do a better DVD re-author job. The only issue is that CloneDVD is pay-ware.

    What is DVD back up. Can't we simply store the same in our system.

    Read the article (guide). You will understand that imported DVDs cannot be copied by normal means.

    Thanks, strider.

    I would rather enjoy getting good reputation for a thread such as this rather than others. I have got many repo's, and I am sincerely thankful for that, but this thread has not got a single one (not even from preeti_20 who asked the question on another thread that prompted me to make a guide).
