Guys
my friend brought a Seagate's harddisk 500gb for 4.5k. Now i also want a USB portable hard disk drive. I will also load tons of mugic and filam on it. Pls advice which ones are the best. No need to post the demeritous ones. Only genuine post required. No litter here. Reply. I give you the challenge.

Seagate FreeAgent is a good option.

moreover you can buy an external casing for your ordinary desktop HDD and use it. just make sure you confirm it can support the size of ur HDD and also the mode IDE/SATA.

I have vista 1gb dual core sata

I purchased a 500gb from my friend who studies in delhi. Its a 2.5 purchase. (second hand)seagate. So the problem doesnt haunt anymore. And i got 50gb music and nice holly flix free as well. So its a good buy. The disk is not old. Will check it on my desktop in somedays and update here. On lappy works nice.
