Default Which one should I use?

In my new pc I have assembled I am confused on which windows 7 ultimate should I install-32 bit or 64 bit. I have 4 GB of DDR3 RAM installed.
I was hoping to get some feedback from you guys on what I should do. Basically as most people know when you have a 32 bit OS & 4GB's of RAM it normally will only be able to use a little over 3GB's of that RAM. What I was wondering was do you think it's worth going with 64 bit? As I understand my computer will then be able to use the full 4GB if needed & more should I need to. I mean would I notice a substantial performance increase?
I have found all my hardware compatible with 64 bit. But the problem is with software. Wherever I go I see only 32 bit softwares available.

Advisable to stick to 32 Bit now.

Most or all of the 32 bit softwares work on 64 bit Windows. I think you can choose 64 bit and use 32 bit softwares in it. You can later use 64 bit softwares also.

Thumbs up 64 Bit for Windows 7

installing 64 Bit of Windows 7 will work faster when compared to 32 Bit. Do windows update regularly that will help you in performance. Also use Microsoft Security Essential Software from microsoft which is free antivirus A Grade software from microsoft that will help you from threads.
