Gmail is good. But I hate the way they group mails for same sender. I usually get convinced while referring to those mails. That is the only point that I don't like. I am using Yahoo since 1998. Got used to it. I don't find anything wrong in Yahoo mail.

Suppose you had a conversation with your friend regarding a job. First your friend sends you the opportunity details, we reply to it. Sends back with more details etc. The whole conversation will group and will be seen as a single entry in the inbox. Though some feel it fine, I find it to be an extremely annoying feature. Very difficult to find between a lot of tabs. Sometimes I end up replying to my own message. Hope it is clear now

this annoys me too.... and when i was new to gmail, i even got confused because sometimes i saw new mail in the inbox, but couldnt figure out where it was located...

this is not very important feature for me.. replies can be different and of different subjects...

My first choice has always been Gmail.
The second place is shared by Yahoo Mail and Hotmail.

I actually found that feature to be really useful (it reduces clutter and comes out to be useful in many instances). And this 'threading' happens only if the Title of the conversation is the same.

But, in e-mail clients using POP or IMAP to access your account, your messages will not be threaded.

yes you are right that the title of th mail could be same but when someone is talking on a different subject than it is very awe.

I think Gmail is one of the best email services! There is no specific reason for this, but I know i prefer it to there other email services.
