Default Which computer devices do you use?

Many people now do not just use one computer device, but two and even more. Its not neccessary that everyone has more than one computer device, but in some homes members of the family have their own device. The computer devices that people use are desktop computers, laptops, tablet, smart phone, each of which has their own features and way of providing information and doing activities on them. Some devices are more useful than others, such as desktop computers and laptops are the ones where most useful things can be done like programming, editing, designing etc. With tablets and smartphones only a limitations of things can be done, and are mostly used for browsing, or sending emails. I have a laptop and smartphone, and out of the two my favourite would be my laptop because its light, can be carried around anywhere and allows me to do all my essential work without any discomfort.

What computer devices do you use, and which one is your favourite?

I only have a desktop computer and a smartphone. I had a laptop earlier but it does not work any more and is beyond repair. The laptop I had was made from pure cotton straigh out of Gandhi ji's handloom so its biting dust in our store room now.

People have many devices these days and every one has their own reason. Most common I have seen is that they are simply able to afford these devices so they buy them and not necessarily use them all but some people use different devices for different tasks. I use my phone to check e-mails all day and my desktop for all the important work.

True, people have more than one or even two devices and use only one, for the rest to be lying around in storage. Ok people have money to spend, but whats the point when your never going to use the device.

I dont see a point in people who have a laptop and then also buy a netbook or even a tablet. A tablet is slightly more lighter and easily potable, but a netbook is near enough the same asa laptop.

I use a tablet and smartphone, but there is no option in the poll for this!

I like using both of my devices, when im at home I use my tablet, other wise im on my phone. I dont do much typing its just emailing and browsing which is why tablet and smartphone is suitable for me.

I use Laptop, Tablet and Smartphone.. however, there is no option in the poll..

I use Laptop for work and browsing forums- Smartphone just to remain in touch with friends and families through calls, emails, whatsapp, sms, social networks, etc. and click photos when I recall that it has a camera.. lol

Tablet is like a toy for me... I like to play games on it and read newspaper, magazines, ebooks, etc. However, I don't get much time as I would like to be with my tablet.

I use a desktop, laptop and smartphone.

Desktop is kept at home and is used by everyone at home, as in my brother and sister and dad, any downloading which needs to be done is done on the desktop computer. Laptop is for my personal use, where I check my mails and do some work from home too. Smartphone obviously is also a personal device for receiving calls, chatting, checking facebook and sometimes reading news.

I think my favourite device is my smartphone its portable, light weight does all the important things that I need to get done (when I don't have my laptop) like checking my emails, keeping in contact with my friends and family using facebook, whatapp etc.
