tp link w8901 g 54 mbps wiresless adsl router configuration for hfcl connect

hello

i recently bought a new adsl modem cum wifi router - tp link td 8901 g .
i use hfcl connect for internet

the company says the modem cannot work and only the supplied modem can work

is there any solution or the money has gone waste for me

which modem is supplied by the ISP ?
is the connection a landline ( telephone line) line based ADSLbroadband connection?

According to HFCL connect policy, you cant use another company`s modem. You need to clear MAC address in order to use ZTE modem. Only connect engineers can do it.

You may have to make a complaint to TRAI, if the company does not allow you to use your own modem/router . Contact higher level CC official/s.
Unfair Trade Practice etc.

Appears what you have given is the chipset number . Google search failed. Possible a modem with French menu!
Need company's name like dlink linksy's Netgear etc.
Can you access modem settings ? user id PW

Do you use a Dialer to connect ?
Userid/pw entered in wanminiport dialer in system.

When connected with "Connect" supplied modem
In computer
START run type cmd
OK
New window.
type ipconfig /all
Also find out VPi/VCI
make these settings in your new TPlink.
Modem gateway ( if different ) DNS entries. Also enable DHCP.
or
Just connect "as it is" using Wanminiport dialer.

i have tried all that but to no avail
the problem is that the router does not show any internet light till i configure it for static ip address

in my modem supplied by the company the settings are for pppoe type

i have tried every configuration possible but no luck so far

if possible can we chat in a messenger or u can help me using teamviewer

confirm VPI VCI for "connect" 1 and 32 How did you find this ?
If you can access the ISP's modem should be seen
Just connect "as it is" using Wanminiport dialer.

If sure deactivate other VCO's
If Not
Activate all VPI's in TP link to activate PPPoE mode.
all entries will appear userid PW will appear in all
dns automatically
Ip address obtain automatically.
MAC address later .
Check connection status for VCO1 to VCO 7.
