Of course it won't improve quality.
How can it improve more than the source? But I am not sure why the size increased. Maybe you used a very high bit rate for encoding.
yes kixxi is right.. how can a converted file or encoded file be better than source file...
no actually; it wont improve anything... just that the target disk is a 4.5gb DVD; so it has to confirm to the dvd standards; hence the size increase. The videos are converted into dvd compliant video which has a bitrate ~4000kbps, so the size will definitely increase if want to make a video dvd, or it wont be a standard dvd video disk.
I hope i cleared ur doubt. If u go into the options and select 8.5GB dvd, then the target will expand to ~8GB.
DON'T beam me up, Scotty!
it shud already fit shadow! thats what its creating the 4.3gb file for! just use nero to wirte it or convertx itself...
otherwise what the hell is the software converting for!?![]()
buddy it shud write just fine.. the actual capacity of dvd5 is ~4.3gb only...
ok... then it wont... actually it all depends on the duration of the source videos not their size. a dvd5 is 120mins (correct me if im wrong)...
m sayin u cant stuff more than 120mins of video on a 4.5gb dvd with nero vision...
n m goin off now... cya l8r...

Ya it does.... winavi video converter does it even more (so my samsung dvdplayer wasnt even able to play some of it)...
, i dont remeber exactly but vision sticks to the formats and allows very little overburnin
I don't know what converter you are using and what is your source file. I have never seen 900MB file growing so big to nearly exceed a DVD size.
Is your source file DVix? I have never ever tried converting DVix to DVD.
No like i said before it is .avi ..... its a collection of all episodes of various tv series ......
Me to wondering y it converted to 3.4 GB![]()

u can mess around with the settings in vision a little, just remmberd it gives an option of an extended play dvd too; but where i dont remember.
it lowers the bitrate to accomodate more mins...
How Much Does a Lite-Scribe DVD Disc Cost In India ?
I haven't seen Litescribe discs in India. There are not many DVD writers that can write to Litescribe discs.
To the best of my knowledge most common dvd writers write have lite scribe option ... I have an LG DVD writer[2 yrs] and a Lite-On[1.5 yrs] Both have Lite scribe feature ... though i have never used it
I Checked On E-Bay .... it seems to be selling at roughly around rs 30/40 per dvd .... Street price must be half of that ..... so just wanted to know![]()
