I don't know what converter you are using and what is your source file. I have never seen 900MB file growing so big to nearly exceed a DVD size.

Is your source file DVix? I have never ever tried converting DVix to DVD.

No like i said before it is .avi ..... its a collection of all episodes of various tv series ......

Me to wondering y it converted to 3.4 GB

So is there no way i can stuff more videos into a dvd without having to buy another soft ... already own a nero license stuck with it .....

u can mess around with the settings in vision a little, just remmberd it gives an option of an extended play dvd too; but where i dont remember.

it lowers the bitrate to accomodate more mins...

I haven't seen Litescribe discs in India. There are not many DVD writers that can write to Litescribe discs.

To the best of my knowledge most common dvd writers write have lite scribe option ... I have an LG DVD writer[2 yrs] and a Lite-On[1.5 yrs] Both have Lite scribe feature ... though i have never used it

I Checked On E-Bay .... it seems to be selling at roughly around rs 30/40 per dvd .... Street price must be half of that ..... so just wanted to know
