Thread: updating id3 tags of my music collection

Hey guys,

I have a small music collection of about 10GB. I wanted to update their id3 tags. I downloaded the mp3tag software but it dosen't download the tag information for hindi music. So i wanted to know if there is some site from which a software can download and update all the id3 tags of my music collection. I can't do it manually just to be clear.

jus use wmp m8... it automatically updates everything on mine, don't have to do anything.

the thing is, id3 tags of mp3 will be updated by WMP or any soft of its kind only if the data for that song is available in its database. Thats why popular songs (if properly named) like "here I am"/"summer of 69" have better chance of being updated rather than a hindi song.

just 10 GB !! thats reallllly small

i have wmp11 but it dosen't update my media info. I have enabled it in options.

read my last post, maybe it is ur case.

I have wmp11, it updates fine ......Complete with Thumbnail Pics and rating.......

But my collection is 'English only'

PS : I have set Napster as the source of my Metadata

so u can see that ur songs will only be updated if they r international hits.
