yeah I know 1gb is nothing today,
for a gaming rig, the minimum should be 2gb. i will get that soon, I hope.

look at it this way, if u bought this board, u would also have to buy a very poor agp card. this system would then be able to run only a handful of old games.
And after a year when u will try to sell the lot, u will get next to nothing.
thats not what u want. wait for some time and then upgrade the entire cpu/mobo/ram/gpu. the way prices have fallen, it wont hurt u much and in the end u will have a gr8 system capable to run all the modern games and 3d applications.
Very good advice ... Be as patient as a hunter stalking his prey , before an upgrade

In 2010 they gonna release PCI-E3 motherboards .... so next upgrade buy PCI-E2 mobo ....Half of the Nvidia 8 series cards use PCI-E2 slots

go for the AMD 5000+ , its Rs3100 and get a AM2+ motherboard too(for 3k more). It will be very upgradeable, u can get a phenom II later, if u have the cash.
if u need links i will giv it to u after i get 15 posts !.
btw u can get it frm techshop.in.
    get 2GB DDR2 800 mhz ram for 2k. A 250GB HDD for 3k and ur with a gr8 comp !
Buy a 780G motherboard and it has a very good IGP. its a ATI 3450.

yes i forgot the main point !
    a 780G has a pcie 2.0 slot.
Also it supports a feature call hybrid crossfire. ie. u can now crossfire a low end card and the IGP to give u more power. get a ATI 3450 and u will be able to use both together.

If you have the adventurous spirit you could get a second hand PC. Most second hand Desktops are available dirt cheap, try and get one with PCI Slots and go for a good Video card & RAM.

And then....you can try to overclock it

Only suggestion will be try to get a Core 2 Duo Desktop and DDR2 Ram. You can always reuse the HDD/RAM & Video Card for new PC when you have the cash...

Good decision ..... PCI-E motherboards are set to get outdated shortly ..... If you buy anything now , it ll be useless by a few months as new motherboards with PCI-E2 slots will be the order of the day
