The 9400, 9500GT and the 9600GSO (a.k.a 8800GS) are going to be sold as Geforce GT100, GT120, etc.
It seems that they r on recycling spree.

Def ...
They dont seem to have any new Technology as far as their Budget series is concerned
There s a huge gap between the GTX280 and 8800GT .... and there is no new card to fill that gap it seems
omit this post
my bad
Nothing new. Nvidia is into heavy loss due to their idiot work that they are doing recently. 8800gt g92 is a bios flash rebranded 9800gt and 8600gt is rebranded as 9500gt. Nvidia was questioned many time by reviewers for their drivers which you to manipulate benchmark scores and their rebranding tactics. But ati has pulled a big rabbit of out the hat with 4830, 4850, 4870 and 4870 x2.
ATI did a smart thing with the 4870,4850 & 4830, by using the same chips, only diff is that the "binned" ones became 4830 and 4850. Heard roomers that there will be RV770 refresh, which is 40nm. But there is really no need for it. Also, some1 (idk which partner) will be releasing an OC version of 4850 with DDR4 memory. Would be interesting to see how that performs.
Heard about that OC version
It would be interesting to see who releases the next Budget vs performance card .....
If ATi does it again Nvidia will loose its majority in the enthusiast market very quickly
But what i dont understand is despite the good run with rv770, AMD is still having HUGE losses. Another year with such losses....... I hope it does not die. Else, T.T, celeron is gonna be $300.
