    Default Saving Images on Computer

OK i got another problem, i cant save images on my comp.

If i want to save an image, i click on save as, and the normal window comes up of the location where i want to save the picture, and Desktop is chosen and when i check on desktop there is nothing there.
I have also tried another location to save it, but it still doesn't work!

Close Firefox -> Go to ->
    C:\Documents and Settings\your user name\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\

And in the folder with random filename (eg:jkhpztfp.default) locate downloads.sqlite file and rename it to something else or delete it (keep back up in desktop if you want).

Now try saving images again. You can delete the back-up file after that.

Note: It's safe to delete downloads.sqlite file. Another file will be automatically created when you open Firefox again.

Try to directly right click on the image & select save as option (instead of going through file menu -> save as option). If it doesnt work try reinstalling firefox (also try reinstalling it in a different user account ), try to see if other browsers work (if they work you dont have any virus/spyware)

    Correct.
If this file gets corrupted, will causes similar problems. But before that, it's best to scan for viruses in System like Rameshjeee suggested.

try the same thing with another browser for once ... this will help make it clear whether the problem is with firefox or windows ...

just give this a try to copy the image file...........

go to tools > page info in firefox.....than go to media tab and look for your file there and after you got the image just click the save as....
