Default Add-Ons,Plugins for bookmarks in Firefox

I have a lot of bookmarks in Firefox (Ver 3.0.1). I wanted to know if there's any add-on or plugins or extension by which I can save my bookmarks. So that when I install Firefox again, I can make use of the bookmarks just by adding the add-on.

You can take back-up of the Bookmarks and upload to a free File Hosting server (eg: Media Fire). All you need is to remember your login details.
    To create backup bookmark file

Bookmarks -> Organise Bookmarks -> Import and Backup -> Export HTML.

    To load backup bookmark file

Bookmarks -> Organise Bookmarks -> Import and Backup -> Import HTML.

You can also load this list in any other browser.

    I prefer this method.

There is a Firefox extention for this called: FEBE

    Use this one https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2109

    Download : http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozi...e-6.0.3-fx.xpi

    Long Description

FEBE backs up your extensions, themes, and (optionally) your bookmarks, preferences, passwords, cookies and just about everything else Firefox offers (it can even backup/restore your entire profile).

    Features:

    * Schedule automatic backups on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
    * Save backups in time-stamped folders to easily identify when the backups were created. Specify how many folders you wish to keep and FEBE removes the oldest.
    * Backup reminder. FEBE can alert you if a backup has not been completed in a specified number of days.
    * Comprehensive results report with links to the author’s extension/theme homepages.
    * User-defined backups. Make backups of virtually any file or folder - Firefox related or not. Just specify what to backup and FEBE does the rest.
    * Extensive built-in help files. Just click the little blue information icons in FEBE options.
    * FEBE 6.0 uses native Firefox zip/unzip components. Much, much faster than previous FEBE versions that depended on external, third-party utilities.
    * Upload backups to your Box.net account automatically or with a single click. (FEBE 6.0)
    * Verify your extension directory. Upgrading to Fx 3.0 sometimes leaves garbage in the extensions directory. FEBE can clean it up. (FEBE 6.0)
    * Quick Backup. You can quickly backup as many or as few individual extensions/themes as you like. They can be saved together in a single, installable xpi file (Similar to CLEO). (FEBE 6.0)
    * … and more!

Important: FEBE 6.0 is for Firefox 3.0 and above only. For Firefox 2.0, use FEBE 5.0.

It was J4X's suggestion. Not mine.

One of the recent addons which i came across was Foxflag

    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/5791

Displays a country flag depicting the location of the current website's server and provides quick access to detailed location and webserver information.

if you want to do this without any addon than also it was possible......just copy your bookmarks files from profiles folder under application data and than after reinstalling the firefox copy them on the new profile.............so simple....
