Everything is all right, but why have u bought that graphics card. for show ???
cards like GeForce 6200 cant do anything. U wont be able to play any good games with it, u will have to play games released at least 3/4 years ago.

Go buy a XFX 8600gt 512 mb if u are interested in games and r not ready to spend much.

go buy a XFX 8800gt if u r ready to spend arounf 9k.

    8600gt would be around 3000/-
    8800gt would be around 9000/-

cards from XFX , ASUS are priced higher than PALIT, so if u r on a tight budget, go for PALIT 8600gt or PALIT 8800gt .

Frankly, I cant tell u much about which HDD company is better. as far as i know western digital, samsung make good HDDs. but anyway, u gotta have a good power supply to install a good graphics acrd and hdd. u already have a 500gb hdd, i can see. u can buy another 500gb sata and install it.
before that buy a good psu, cooler master eXtreme Power 600 W cames at about 3.5k. u can also buy 450 watt smps if u want.

never use vista. use xp service pack2 as long as u can.

if windows 7 turns out to be good, then u can upgrade to that, but not vista.

Psu means power supply unit or SMPS.
it provides regulated dc current to ur motherboard and other pc parts. the electricity is divided into several channels meant for different parts according their power requirements.

slower than xp, eats resources like a monster on a rampage, less than 60% backward compatibility, still has many issues with many device drivers, but above all -- if u dont have the right tools -- ur gaming will suffer which wouldnt have happened at XP.

having said all this, i must also add that vista has its advantages but only recommended for much experienced users who will handle multiple OS with ease, I SHALL NEVER RECOMMEND VISTA to someone who is not very experienced.

    Experienced users won't need another's recommendation dude....

It is but true that some good ones (or high level users) do ask for recommendations, while some of the "middle class" do not bother about what others say.

Buddy the fact that this guy has 8GB ram, there is no reason to cry thats its system gobbling. The only draw back i see is the incompatibility of many softwares. E.g skype does on work properly on vista.

Now i hope u have a 64bit OS else its a total waste. Also, about the gfx card, get the ATI HD4850 for Rs8800 here :

Hey thats a good point , u need a 64 bit OS to use all of the 8 gb ram ....... in which case vista 64 bit definitely has better drivers than xp 64 bit
