    Cool CPU Water Cooling

    Hello ,
Firstly here is my configuration :-
    Intel Pentium D 805 Processor
    Intel D102GGC2 Mobo
    XFX 8600 GT 512 MB PCI-E card
    2048 MB Ram
Hitachi 160 GB Sata & Seaget 80 GB ATA drive
    Frontech PSU 450 Watt
And using 5 fans (including CPU`s and PSU`s)

So here is my problem my CPU and GPU are very high in Temprature .
    Please see the pic :-

I am confused here also as u can see SPEEDFAN is showing
    CPU-50
    Remote-63

    But my bios says
    CPU-63
    Remote-50

i dont know which one is correct may be the BIOS because it is integrated .

Anyway the temprature is too high to handle some application Including Games
So i need your suggestions to getting it cool down . I already done some work on the cables for the Airflow and made a lot of changes to it if you want to see i can show some pics so u can suggest more about it Also if Watercooling is available in india then i will go firstly with it if it is not too costly . My budget is 5K. if not i can also go with asus`s v60 and some more that available in their website .
Hey i one more thing i need to tell you about , i just come to know that the processor i m using is one the world`s best overclockable processor it can be overclocked from 2.66 to 4.2 so i need a decent cooling system for my entire cpu including GPU .

    Waiting for your response................

bro i use the same processor.
I have OCed it to 3.6Ghz 24/7 and max i have done is abt 3.8GHz. Its not at all stable above 3.8Ghz. Do NOT try to go to 4GHz+. It is pointless. U dont gain much.

Even i have serious heat issues with it. Its a lot worse than urs. Ur temps seem ok to me. A bit hot but not to worry abt it.

Liquid cooling for 5k not good IMO. Here is the link:
Cooler Master Aquagate S1 CPU Cooler - RL-EUL-GBU1-GP by: Cooler

Get this instead if it fits in ur case:
Thermalright ULTRA 120 EXTREME CPU Cooling Heatsink - ULTRA 120

add a 120mm fan and ur good 2 go.
Dont waste cash just bcos u wanna OC that slowww thing.

well i dunno which temp to go with. Try everest ultimate to chk ur temps too.

You over here too :P. Didn't I tell you to do some research on tech2 forums?? :P.
    Possible scenarios for high temps:
Substandard psu (Read the psu guide which is on the forums)
Bad cable management (I seen amazon looking more pretty compared to some cases)
Wrong heatsink mounting- I seen people using too much thermal paste assuming more paste= more cooling.
People are also under the assumption that more fans= more cooling. Less the turbulence, more chance for the air to circulate smoothly and pushed out.
    Sad fans- enough said
Dont bother to clean heatsink, psu vents, fans, the other side of the case, etc. Too much dust acts as a cloth and hence heat.
A standard waterblock=2x 120mm rad=motor=t fill port and resovoir including the fluid will cost you 14k and you will have to import it. Even the rad needs proper cooling. Lets not just fill the fluid and forget about evaporation or else
    :death:

Which psu are you using now then? What is the cfm of the fan are you using? Can you make some arrangements to put the picture of your system via side panel's view.

Bro i m using the stock HSF. I get temps of abt 80C idle, but i m sure thats my fault. I have to apply new paste and hope it solves the problem.I did do some cleaning of the case and the wires. Will get the paste soon and tell the results abt it.

Change the thermal paste. Either that or the thermal diode on the processor is not installed properly.

usually the warranty will be for 1 yr (if there is no extended warranty in any offers) so ... if you have good relation with your wendor you have chances of getting it replaces or else have to pay for it........

    ^^ No.
Retail processors (the ones we get in boxes) have 3 years warranty. The OEM ones (which companies like dell, hp, etc.) give one year by default. Its been like this for a really long time.
