Thread: getting rid of dust and cooling problems for good!!

hey,
have u seen those fridges in hotel rooms, those small ones. Imagine if we could put a PC(ATX mid towers) inside, remove the side panels of the PC, we get an imba cooled PC, dust free too.

Just drill holes for monitor , power and seal them off after wiring.

This seems like a joke, but some day i would like to give it a shot

For this cooling problem here is what i have done ...

removed everything from cabinet.. kept the board on a note book (actual book with pages) and gave connection and on top of it there is a small actual fan of around 3 inches blade is rotating to cool and remove the dust, working as a blower...

First i used to have problems for the magnetic field created by the fan but now i shifted the fan a bit far and everything is great my PC temp will be around 40 C thats all before it would reach up to 65 C

for my advantage the power for the external fan comes from the WIND MILL i have made on top of my house.....

would be nice if u can send pics of that setup
