    Default Budget PC under 10k

Looking to buy an assembled PC for video chatting & browsing for 10k.

Are there any branded PCs that come in this range?

    Thanks in advance

    proc - celeron 430 1.8ghz = 2000
    mb - Asus P5GC-MX (intel 945 chipset) = 2100
    ram - ddr2 1gb = 850
    hdd - seagate 80 gb = 1700
monitor - AOC 15" ( u may opt for different brand depending on ur money) = 3500
    cainet + smps = 1000

= 11150 (sorry this is the lowest i can get for u )

Well, if u can go up to 13K try this
    Apna PC

And also this, since u require mainly to access the Net
MiLeap Classmate with Win XP Home

The second option (or similar options from Asus) coupled with Reliance Netconnect Broadband+ (http://www.rcom.co.in/Communications...broadband.html) would give best option of browsing & chatting with full mobility. Plus u also save on the cost as no UPS is required. So, in effect the extra 3K u pay is recovered in the saving on the UPS front.

If you are interested in a ultra low powered PC then a PC based on Intel Atom would go a long way , the entire system runs at 39 W
    ( Processor+MB+1HDD+Ram )
Consumes as much power as 2 CFL bulbs !!!

    :tt2:

Ive made a new Bittorrent Box based on this configuration , keep it on 24x7 without having to worry about huge electricty bills.
