Default What is Idle time with respec to computers

If the computer is converting some files, will this time be considered as idle time ?

In scheduled tasks, in windows xp, there is an option to run task if the computer is idle for certain period of time, and it retries the task for desired time if the computer is busy.

I want to shutdown the computer after processing all my conversions, during this time i will not use any mouse or keyboard.

Can the time during conversion be considered as busy time (not idle) for computer?, so that it retries to shutdown when the conversion has finished.

I have tried the shutdown scheduled task during rar extraction, but the scheduled task considers the time during extraction as idle time, and shuts down the computer

idle time is the time when there is no keyboard or mouse activity.

try some 3rd party shutdown tools like auto shutdown which can monitor processor usage and initiate shutdown.
