Rep Power: 1 | Hi I am saurabh i had bought i new intex head phones for my ess 1969 soundcard embebbed pc. it seems to give very less volume .i then checked the headphones in my friends pc having ac97 card they were awasome and sound volume was atleast twice . can some one help wht to do for that kind of sound in my pc without changing the card |

| You sure about your master volume setting??? Go to run and type "sndvol32", Check if everything is right there... |

| Before doubting the sound card, do check these: 1) Is the volume of the headphone very low. There is a manual volume control option on most Headphones. 2) Check the volume control of your sond card, i.e., windows tasbar volume control.
3) If still the problem persists, Try cleaning the audio port of the sound card.(just blow out the dust from it). 4) Make Sure proper drivers are installed. 5) Try some other headphone or speaker with the same sound card. If it sounds good, then your headphone might be defective. Quote:
