Buddy how much can u spend ????
What is ur Power supply(PSU/SMPS) rating ??(how many watts ??)
Is ur PSU branded ???If yes, plz tell model number.
Also, can u plz tell ur screen resolution and Processor speed.
U r motherboard supports 1GB+ Graphic cards. There is no limit like that. Atleast i have not heard of it.

I dont think Graphics cards are that important for that kind of work.
RAM is most imp. But ur mobo has a RAM limit of 2 GB right ???So there is really not much that can be done i guess.

Still, u can go for any of the following:
9500GT 1GB:
MSI NVIDIA Geforce 9500GT N9500GT-MD1G-OC/D2 1GB GDDR2 Graphics Card -

ATI4650 1GB:
MSI R4650-D1G ATI Radeon 1GB GDDR2 Graphics Card - R4650-D1G by: MSI -

I would really recomend that u upgrade ur processor. I have a D805(Dual core, 2.66GHz) which i gettin wasted(not in use). If u stay near bangalore, i can send it to u. Yes it is compatible with ur mobo.

come on
on that mother board no point of a 9500Gt it wont make a difference and he must be having an unbranded 400W PSU so no use of that card and i dont even think that board
It doesnt even support that interface it supports PCI Express x16
not PCI Express 2.0 x 16

^^ It has PCIe x16 slot na. So whats the issue ??
PCIe 2.0 is downward compatible. Also, for ur info, most of the cards do not even saturate a PCIe X16 1.1 lane. So, the it will not make any difference if its a old PCIe X16 or a PCIe X16 2.0 .

I see no point in the aditional GPU as the for running application that will utilize that GPU you will also need a multicore CPU for optimum performance and the phase power design of that MOBO is outdated and eventhen if he is using crappy PSU he will be needing about 600W PSU and for branded PSU of 450W+

so we both agree no point in purchasing the new GPU so the link for 9500GT is not required LOL
