    Default Help-dual monitor setup

Hey guys i need some help/info regarding dual monitor setups.

I have dual DVI and s-video on my graphics cards. So, i can connect 2 monitors to my PC.
Now, i want the same img to come on both the screens. I DO NOT want a continuous image. I m connecting PC to my TV in another room. I can connect them physically via a HDMI chord. But, if i watch a movie on my screen, i want it to be visible on the TV in the other room too. If possible, i could change the resolution on the to screens(one is 1280x1024 and other is 1920x1080). Is there any way of doing this ????

First connect both the monitors physically. Then go to display setting. Advance. There you will get the options. Select Monitor + Tv

it depends there are three options
1.Single View (you can set any one screen as output)
2.Dual View(you can set the TV as an extension to your screen and drag the media player there when you want to play a movie but that way you wont be able to watch it on your screen)
3.Clone View(THe TV will be a clone of your monitor and every action will be displayed on the TV screen too and will use you GPU like hell)
I recomend use clone view whenever you want to play the movie in both and otherwise keep the GPU in singlw view mode

Post what you want very precisely and please post you GPU model or series

i dont know about ATI control panel but in NVIDIA when you right click there is a control panel option and there is an option for "set u[ multiple display"

and use evga precision and adjust fan speed to 100% while using it on full HD resolution

w8 i will try it, i got an extended display option.

Also, on the ATI control panel, i can manually change fan speed.

Warning: Never Put fan speed to 100% !!! The card will vibrate a lot and it may cause problems. Do not put it above 60% or so.

Dude i have been always using GPU on 100% fan speed for GTA IV or other shader oriented games my card doesnt vibrate at all and has been working fine always gtx 275 and even the cards before it and I did contact XFX before 100% fan speed and they will cover every damage inflicted by the 100% fan speed and also they recomended me to use it on 100% on high shader oriented games
so it doesnt matter you GPU should be nicely locked to your casing at the interface outlet of DVIs or whatever it wont vibrate then and if its a multi fan GPU then i dont know about it
