It maybe that something has moved or is damaged inside your box, which was the case when my computer made a funny noise when it used to start.

If you are a serious new user then I apologize.

what happens is there is someone who is selling something
or promoting a website or something, they join this forum
and post random posts, agreeing with others, and
laughing at jokes etc, then when they reach a min post count
for linking sites, they start to advertize. Now you got the point?

If you are not one of those then it is great, welcome to IBF

    @ NARENkill

If you are so concerned, ask a technician to check your system. Hands on help will be always better in case of hardware.

Check your cables and if you do not want to get anymore touchy and tamper around with things consult your hardware technician!!

Open you computer. Try to identify the noise source. It is most likely to be the fans.

When fans become old, the bearings have worn out. So they make a lot of noise, especially at startup. Fans are three types:

    a) SMPS fan
    b) CPU fan
    c) Chassis fan

CPU fan and Chassis fan are easily replace-able and not costly also. SMPS fan is not so. If the computer is working fine then you can differ the repairs for some time.

After performing all the mentioned by just4kix in the Computer, reset the BIOS to default settings.

Then, check for the BIOS updates on the manufacturer's website. Download and install only if the update (if there is any) is for resolving the current issue.

The Basic Input/Output System (BIOS), is an interface for the computer's Hardware and Software, and determines how the Computer Hardware is accessed and functions. This includes fan.

I've seen BIOS updates resolving Fan issues before... This time, I searched an example for you... Please read the release note for one of the BIOS updates from intel which fixes the issue with the System fan..

P.S.- Press "Ctrl + F", type "fan" in the Find box and hit "Enter" twice.

It must be 1 of the fans, i checked in the config and it says system fan failure. I am not sure which 1 is system fan though!! SMPS fan??

Is it ok to update even on pirated OS's?
