Exclamation error in installing a fresh copy of windows xp
hi friends,
i formatted my pc & installed a fresh copy of windows xp sp3.during the installation,an error occured.windows cannot copy the file xxxxx.xxx &it repeated for several files.the CD worked perfectly in my friends pc.the dvd drive is also working perfectly.is it a problem of RAM.

Its a problem with the DVD drive. my friend had the same problem.

I used my dvd drive on his computer with the same disk ,and it worked fine.

no its not RAM problem.
make new fresh CD/DVD of windows XP.
install using that CD/DVD.

same problem with me,, someone pls help us out...

even my dvd writer cant read sometypes of cds while it may read even rugged up dvds...and so can my friends comp can too...

it can also read some specific cds also..
