    Default enabling dvd watching on pc

    hi everyone

    i have a pc which has a CD WRITER installed in it with which i can write
    as well as play the CDs .I wish to watch DVDs on my pc.
    what is required to be done ? my pc guy told me you will have to
    install a COMBO-DRIVE on your pc.are the drivers for playing / writing
    DVDs available on the net from where they can be downloaded ?

    kindly guide in this regard

    You need a hardware, which is called DVD Drive. It can be of Sony, LG or Samsung. If you need to watch the DVD in computer, you need to get a combo drive and plug in the data and power cables.

    It is a hardware drive, not a software one.

    dilip is right its a hardware and not a software.it will cost u around 1K to 2K depending on the brand.
