    Default HP printer cartridge

How long does your printer ink cartridge last (my printer is of HP brand), the maximum for me is 4 months, i used to cover the printer with wet cloth so as to prevent the air from entering and drying the cartridge,
it was very troublesome, but this method sustained my cartridge for 4 months, otherwise it got dried within 1-2 months. Whats' your experience with ink cartridges,

Just wanted to have your opinion or some method that can make the cartridge last longer. Its costing me a lot of money.

Refilling the ink is not a problem, the problem is clogging of ink that makes the cartridge useless.
So you throw it away after 1-2 months

Btw how often you replace your ink cartridge with new one?

Ink cartridges should last around 4 mths anyway, its a good idea what you have mentioned capri!

I think you have given the best solution to keep cartridges last longer, i cant think of anything else other than covering the printer up properly and stop any air going into it.

Because you mentioned HP printer cartridges, I knew my friend she used to get her HP cartridges refilled from Nehru Place, instead of getting new ones, so it saved a lot of money, and if the ink did dry out it wasn't so bad, cause of less money spent!
