Question GFX card ??

i'm planning on buying a graphics card. which one should i go for ??
budget Rs.3000

i mostly will be playing cod 4, cod 5, gta 4, Company of Heroes, Virtua Tennis 3, battlefield 2, F.E.A.R. 2 Project Origin, Brothers in Arms Hells Highway, Medal Of Honor Airborne, crysis etc

my pc config
intel quad core 2.33 ghz processor
intel DG35EC motherbaord
2gb ddr2 ram
500gb hdd

EDIT-
I m lil bit confused abt both 9400gt & 8600gt 512mb card for which 2 buy....some forums threads says 8600gt is better bt some says 9400gt is better caz its 9 series.... i chked all the reviews & comments by which i concluded tht 8600gt is mch better than 9400gt for games like COD4, GTA4 etc..... Plz help me which 2 buy????????

i bought 9800gt last week , its a higher end model but i also checked out 9400gt 1gb ram and its arnd 3000 and it works fine enough so i say 9400gt
not a big fan of the 8 series btw they are too slow

You can look at 2nd hand cards. You can get cards like the 3870 for Rs3k. Tell me if ur interested.

no thax actually i dont buy 2nd hand stuffs
now once again i'm confused 8600 gt 256mb ddr3 or 9500gt ddr2 512mb ??
some of forums still suggests 8600 but its 256mb.
wot is the difference between ddr2 n ddr3

9500GT is a lot faster than a 8600GT. Go for 9500GT ! Do not buy DDR2, buy GDDR3 only !!!!! End of you confusion.

But let me warn you that these cards are not meant for gaming. You will be able to play games on med settings only.

If you can push your budget, get an ATI 4670. Its around 4.6k .

If you are not too much into hard core gaming, then go for 9500GT. This will suffice.

I have EVGA 6200LE 256 MB and I am quite OK with it.

If you want to game then 4670 is a minimum buddy, you can get some really good deals in 2nd hand.

^yea, ATIs 5850 and 5870 are here in india. They cost Rs16.5k and 24k resp.

The mid range ones cost 9-12k. they are 5750 and 5770. Prices are too high here in India .

i will to buy nvidia dx11 graphics card that is between 5-6K.

Nvidia still has to release DX11 cards. That will take at least 2 months more...The 5750 and 5770 are good cards...
