Rep Power: 1  |  Help upgrading system Hi, I am planning to buy new processor, M/B, and ram for upgrade my pc. Budget is max 12,000. can anyone suggest me best intel processor, M/B and 2 GB RAM (DDR2/3) for me in this budget . My old config was intel 845 gvsr M/B, intel 2.4 Ghz processor and 512 DDR 1 ram. Which is obsolete now a days. so please give some latest configs so no need to upgrade next 2-3 yrs(at least CPU and M/B). and i can easily upgrade my RAM if required. I am upgrading my system only because DDR 1, 266 Mhz RAM is not easily available or very costly |

Rep Power: 1 | IMO Go for a AMD processor as their IGP is the best now. Processor: AMD Athlon II X4 620(2.8GHz, 2MB L2 Cache) - 5.3k (Quad core Processor  )Motherboard: Biostar TA785GE - 3.8k(HD 4200 is a very good IGP. Plays HD with eaze and directX 10.1 complaint. Also has 128MB DDRIII sideport memory so theat you can also play light games  )RAM: Transcend 2GB DDR2 800MHz - 2.1k Total: 11.2k  If you still want Intel then go for Processor - Core 2 Duo 2.93Ghz E7500 - (3MB L2 cache 2.93Ghz 1066MHz) - Rs.5550 (dual core  )Motherboard - Gigabyte EG31-S2L - Rs. 2450 Ram - Kingston DDRII 2 GB 800 Mhz - Rs.2150 Total: ~10.2k |
