    Default Dual Core Processor

I am just about to purchase a cpu so to keep my options open i would like to know about the best dual core processors within 5.5k. Currently i am thinking of buying an AMD Athlon II X4 630.

as for dual cores, Athlon 2 245 (dual core) provides really good value at Rs3.5k approx. Its pretty quick, dont let the price fool you.

If you intend to use Windows exclusively go for Intel/nvidia processors/graphic cards. (AMD processors are best for Linux.)
It is well-known that Microsoft writes the software mostly with to work with Intel. That doesn't mean that AMD doesn't work with Windows, it does, but there are issues !
Linux doesn't do well with Intel.
