    you should try a proper fabric mouse pad dude..makes a hell lot of difference...

    Everything sounds cool. However, for the HD, I think it's better to go with a higher capacity. Go for 1 - 2 TB like Western Digital's HDDs.

    I need help for new desktop. I'm looking for a CPU that would that would come under 17-18k, excluding monitor, mouse, speakers as i already have these. My requirements are 500 HDD, 3 Gb ram and a gfx.

    try integrating it with liquid cooling...a lot of games now have high graphic requirements, you can have the pc of the best configuration and use it for gaming and multimedia for hours and hours without worrying about the PCs health. liquid cooling makes it possible these days.
