Default ATI Catalyst 10.3 - The Golden Driver ?

ATI recently launched a new driver set, the catalyst 10.3. It had boasted of a great improvement in performance and features. So, are all those claims true ? What kind of performance benefit do we get ?

In the tests conducted by Tweak Town , there is a clear indication that these drives work much better than the older 10.2 set. With performance increase seen across many games (noticeably HAWX) , even on lower end cards like the 5770.

ATI/AMD had earlier told that these drivers would be special, but we never to that really seriously as that is what the PR teams are made for , but, to our surprise (in a good way!) these drivers do live up to those numbers and if you own a ATI HD5000 series card, you should not miss out on this update.

AMD also claims some gains for the older 4800 series cards, lets see how true that is, i will test them and let you all know. Please feel free to share your experiences with the new driver, any bugs, any fixes, any improvements.

Why they left 3800 series cards behind, 10.2 drivers made Test drive ultimate worst and not uninstalling properlly also.

Now sticking back with 9.12 drivers...

Wishing to sell my card soon and get a Nvidia card soon...

Thats because the 3800 series is so so old. Why will they still support it ? Even Nvidia would have stopped support for older cards if they would not have done re-branding so many times.
