Default Suggestion for buying a monitor

I want to purchase either a LCD monitor or LCD TV for my computer as most of the times I use it to either watch movies or browse net. Request you to suggest which would be a better option. My budget is about 15k

For 15K you have a wide variety of choices in pureplay monitor. You can even get a 24" widescreen monitor.

I am not sure whether you will get an LCD TV (22") in that price.

But I am not aware of the latest prices.

22" Monitors are now really cheap. You can get them for as low as 8000.

Get a BenQ G2420 for Rs11.5k. Its pretty good.

If u have 15k and u are going to buy a bigger screen means no prob, the thing u have to see is the spec of the LCD thats the main thing no the screen ( its second )...

    * Check for contrast Ratio 50000:1 and above are better. 30000:1 will b a bit good and ur friend who has 19inch 20inch LCD screen with 50000:1 contrast ratio will say mine is brighter and sharper than your...

    * Check for the Response time. 5ms is good and 2ms way much better, there are 8ms monitor and that will like applying motion blur in fast moving objects..
    Try for 2ms screens..

    * Check for viewing angle of the screen 180deg, its is the best angle for a screen who can view their screen from right or left not only from straight...

    * Check for the Max Resolution supported by it and the Hz it supports for each resolution..

    * Check out for the connector types and adapters that they give..
VGA cable, DVI cable ahd HDMI cable..

    * My main point is that Monitor must meant for monitor only, not watching TV and hearing songs by built-in speakers and webcam too..
If webcame, built-in speakers and tv in is there means there will be some drop in spec..
Monitor is meant for Monitor only..

    * Last is that see for warrenty types..
Samsung gives 100% guarrenty for no dead pixel in their LCD screens and they have on sight service..
Myself using a 20"inch from samsung and i very much happy for owning it...

    Tc Have a Nice day..
