Lightbulb Tips for maintaing you Modem Health.

There are many user who use to keep their modem router turned on for a long time, even days and months..

Modem has their own capacitor IC etc etc...
they use to get pretty in just 10min or even if its not used also...

What is use to do to keep them cool is to keep my modem Horizontally and in that way Hot air may get out of from the backside and in the front side too..

A small pic to show you all how i placed my Modem..

    cool isint it...

The other way is that you can keep your modem in top of your cabinet or shelf and where their is more air circulation all the time..

If own a blower, try blowing air from the top side, through the small holes and clean off the dust particals once in a month...

The next tricky way is to get a cheap usb fan..
Yes get a cheap usb fan and get a cheap 80mm fan and take the fan on the usb cable and replace it with the 80mm fan and place it on top of the modem..
The fan must blow air on the modem..

Dont use USB and Ethernet cable at the same time, as it may burn your modem and cause some damage...

Use the supplied adapter to power the modem, dont use Volt controller adapter or any cheap once...

Make sure you turn off your modem when it is not in use...

Thanks for going through my post...
