Thread: Suggestions for this configuration

Everyone I ask says AMD heats up. I'm in Gujarat, and the temperatures these days soar like anything, I think its the same all over India, isn't it? Are there people on the forum who use AMD without an AC, at temperatures of around 44 C?

Why do you ask people who dont own one ? Just google it for reviews man...

My neighbour is using AMD Phenom II X2 555 without an AC on during the day. Here, the temperature goes upto 52 C and I have never found him complaining about heat problems.

Some CPUs models may heat a tad more than others. That does not mean that AMDs overheat.

And basically, if you do not overclock, the CPU will remain within limits.
