    Question Really Confused

    Hi Guys,
I am using an Radeon HD 3850 for nearly one year and now am going to upgrade the card to a better one..
But the problem is that i dono which one to get a Price range of RS:6000
    Geforce 9800gt
    Geforce Gt 240
    Radeon HD 5670...

    Dono which one to select...

As Nvidia is good in Physx, but if buy an HD 5670 and if it lags in Physx support means there is no way in going back..
Am changing my HD3850 for Physx only but but am confused

Their are only few games which take advantage of PHYSX support like for Unreal Tournament 3.

Well if you compare like Geforce 9800 GT or 5670, Geforce 9800 GT has PHYSX while 5670 has DX11 so dx11 is much more better than PHYSX.

    Well, 5670 512 MB cost Rs 6500/-

It would be a good upgrade.

As i saw in Economical Gaming Pc thread that HD5770 cost like 6500 the 512mb ver..

HD 5670 is a decent card considering its cost.
Have you checked the cost of HD5770 in any online shop? Somebody like the ITwares will have that below 7k. As for going with the 1GB is just a waste as in these mid-range cards, 512MB is more than sufficient.
Sapphire Radeon HD4850 is an old card but very powerful and it can be found under 6.5k range.

but for 5770 and 4850 he will need a decent power supply na?he would have to spend more money if he doesn't has the requirement.but if he has the requirement then no probs.

5670 doesn't need a powerful PSU in most cases!

    @bonda
    whats ur PSU's model??

His PSU is supporting Radeon HD 3850, so it should(subject to certain constraints) support the 5770 and 4850. In my opinion a decent 400W PSU should suffice(again subject to constraints like cpu, motherboard power requirements etc.)

yeah that may work! but bonda plz tell the model of your PSU!

And if u can then get a 4850!!its a lot better than 5670!

    @bonda
    Either buy one of these:

    ATI Radeon HD 5670

    ATI Radeon HD 4850

If you need a PSU then get a Seasonic Bronze S12II 380Watt.It can handle a 4850 on a dual core or a quad core!

And get the right PSU for u by looking:
    http://www.indiabroadband.net/showthread.php?p=259070

i say buy an a 4850 from lynx-india for 6.4K and get Seasonic Bronze S12II 380Watt PSU!total is 8K but is worth upgrading!

I am having an HuntKey 550w and it has 2x 6pin connector and 8pin cpu connector and its a bit advance PSU..
Now i am looking for an GPU update only, so will HD5670 satisfy my gaming Hunger or show i spend a bit more on the HD5750 like that..
I use to play games in 1400*700 res with High and medium setting and i am satisfied with the results am getting with my HD3850...
As HD3850 does not support Opencl and Physx am looking for an Update...
I think Nvidia wont bring an DX11 card in 7000rs segment...
    These are my System spec:
    AMD Athlon x2 5200+ 2.70ghz
    Asus M2N68-AM motherboard
    Trans 4gb 800mhz ram
    500gb+160gb HDD
    Radeon HD 3850 512mb Gddr3 @700mhz/ 880mhz
    HuntKey Pure 550w psu
Samsung Sync master 2033 20"inch monitor...

wait a few days, I got a small review coming up.

Anyways, the 5770 1GB is still Rs9.8k here in bangalore. Take a look at the 5750, thats about 8k odd. Huntkey, I guess you will be fine with it.... but have a look at this video....

5670 is a good option, if you play at lew res(1280x1024), you will be fine....if you play at Full HD, you would have to set to medium in some games, most will be playable at about 40 odd FPS (at full HD res).

But now there is a problem, that is i cant find any details about hybrid sli supported cards.. Have they stopped the support or else?
