i hav amd X 2 245 processor with asus MB and 2GB 800Mz DDR2 ram

when i instaled Vmware with 2 virtual OS the system is hanging.

I had intel DC Pro 2.66 with Asusboard and 3 gb ram,in that Vmware was working properly with 4 virtual OS.
if i add one more 2gb to my current config will it work properly?? or need to change to intel processor?

i guess u have to go with Intel processor if u want to have Vmware with 2 Virtual OS.

not a processor issue...i WILL get back to you on this...can you provide a bit more detail on what u use...?

You can use max RAM that the motherboard support and with 32bit it will automatically change the system memory to 3gb and only 3gb will be used and in 64bit you can use more than 3gb can be used without a problem...
If you want to make the os show that 3gb is installed when 4gb or 6gb is installed means follow this step...
Type MSCONFIG in the RUN and go to BOOT and Then Advance Option and Check the Maximum Memory and Type the Amount of Ram you want to downgrade..
Eg If you want to show from 4gb to 2gb means Multiple 1024x2 and you will get 2048 and type that in the box and restart your system...

Note:
You cannot enter more than the RAM you have installed...
